Stata: Online resource for learning

 Stata is commonly used statistical data management and data analysis software for health and econometrical research.  It has vast range of analytical tools that anyone can use either from the menu bar or code.

Stata stands for the main software website which has 4 different versions in different prices according to range of variables and no. of observations.

Stata has it's own rich resources but here all the online resource divide in few segments.

Learning Resource:


1. The Analysis of South African Household Survey Data (Southern Africa Labour and Development Research Unit, University of Cape Town)
 One of the best resource is SALDRU Stata Web Course (Above link). This is a collaboration work of University of Michigan and University of Cape Town focusing for distance learning.  But the problem is you have to made a user id by contracting with the course convenor alison.siljeur@uct.ac.za and the solution is just give a mail in this address & get your user id.

It provides extensive list of different Stata command for various topics. It's a trainig program module of Data and Statistical Services of Princeton University.

Germán Rodríguez a faculty member of Princeton University mainly focused in this tutopial data management and data visualization with complementary discussion on statistical models.

UCLA has extensive resources under Institution for Digital Research and  Education (idre) for many statistical software and packages. I used this website for statistical problem clarification and discussions are very useful manner.


Video Tutorial: 


It has topic basis video tutorial but they are not explained in details. Not only this there are lot of video tutorial in youtube on different topics.
